Handcrafted One of a Kind Jewelry Designs

I am home most of the time raising a handicapped child and I love to make jewelry (it helps to keep me busy and sane) - but I soon discovered I can only make so much jewelry for myself. So I decided to see if I could sell some. I started selling in boutiques and then I decided to go online. ~

What inspired you to launch your own website?

This is my first website and I started it in Sept. 07.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I came up with quite a few names but the domains were already taken so I had to find something that was available and my husband thought it sound classy.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

All my pieces are one of a kind designs and I believe my prices are very reasonable.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I would like to start earning an income from my sales.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I invest a lot of time making the jewelry, photographing the jewelry and tagging the jewelry with descriptions of all the stones and silver used in each design. I currently have not gotten as many sales as I wish I had but I believe it will take some time.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I would advertise as many places as I could possible afford and hope to get repeat clients.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Yes, I believe I would.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I had quite a few headaches at the beginning when I was trying to develop my website. I had no experience as to how it all works and it was quite a learning experience to say the least. I was very frustrated quite a few times.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Trying to advertise without spending any funds.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Link Exchange

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Sales

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I believe I will give it approximately 2 years and see how my profits are going.

What is your website address?
