Please give us a short summary of your website?
Total Delights---Fine handcrafted jewelry made with gemstones, swarovski crystals, sterling silver and more. Different styles for different tastes, We don't believe that one size fits all.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
This was a goal of mine and something that I have wanted for myself and my business partner and our families

Total Delights is my first website
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My partner and I felt that Total Delights didn't limit us in what we design.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
In looking at many of the other handcrafted jewelry sites they have what I call the same flavor. We have a very diverse inventory, not only do the two of us design different, but we don't have a medium that we limit ourselves to.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it for income, My goal is to be able to move my family and yet still have my income from the website
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We have not had the sucess that we hoped for but are still working aqt improving our site and increasing our links.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I built the site using sitebuilder and have be very happy with it there are things that I see done on other sites that I do wish I could afford to have done. Fading photos for example.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
yes I have good family support, they can help in packaging etc.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Just pay per click being a little more hard to keep up with
What has been your biggest challenge?
designing the website myself and making sure that I work out the problems so that I learn as much as possible so as to be able to take care of problems

Pay per click and blogs
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
none really
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
just about one year and yes I have a desire to make this work.
