A Rapport article on Diamonds.net reveals that jewelry sales rose up to 5.6 per cent in from the 1st of November up Christmas eves. This figures is from MasterCard Advisor - SpendingPulse, that have a macroeconomic reports on national retail and services sales.
The SpendingPulse reports adds that out of ten categories posted, six of them showed growth for the 2009 holiday shopping season.
